  • The car is finished in the “Green Hell Magno” paint finish, which premiered on the AMG GT R.
  • This AMG GT Black Series had an original list price of over $346,000.
  • Power is provided by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 720 hp.

A rare 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, driven just 165 miles (265 km), has hit the used car market in the U.S. and could be one of the best Black Series models we’ve ever seen.

The paint job sets this AMG GT Black Series apart from any other model we’ve seen so far. The original owner shelled out an extra $9,900 to have it painted in AMG Green Hell Magno, the same color introduced on the AMG GT R a few years before the Black Series was launched. As with other Black Series models, the paint contrasts with several exposed carbon fiber parts, including the front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear wing.

Offered for auction through Bring a Trailer, this exceptionally striking Mercedes-AMG includes two keys, a trickle charger, service records, and a clean Carfax report. It has the original 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires.

While the AMG GT Black Series is the toughest, most performance-focused version of the sports car, the interior isn’t as bare-bones as you’d expect from a track-focused Porsche, Lamborghini or Ferrari. In fact, the car features heated seats with black Nappa leather and contrasting orange stitching, a Burmester sound system, dual-zone climate control, carbon fiber door sills and numerous driver assistance systems.

The car is powered by a modified version of Mercedes-AMG’s famous 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which here produces 720 hp and 800 Nm of torque. This engine is coupled to an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. A look at the sticker in the window reveals that the car’s original price, including all the extras, was $346,045.
