Warner Bros. Discovery has also released a new update for the Harry Potter series, and a few others, including the It Prequel series Welcome to Derry and DC Studios’ Lanterns. The three shows, originally intended to be Max originals, will now be rebranded as HBO originals as part of a new strategy. The series is said to be a “faithful” adaptation of the source material and will feature a new cast that has not yet been announced. The franchise’s writer has also shared her excitement about the choice, praising her “genuine passion” and assuring fans that the series will “more than meet expectations.”

The films were far from perfect and the directors tried as best they could to stay faithful to Rowling’s books, but there were countless details that had to be adapted or removed from the books. Even if the upcoming Max reboot is meant to be a more “faithful” adaptation, the original films will always rely on nostalgia for the original. Harry Potter fans.

Daniel Radcliffe, who played the title character in eight films from 2000 to 2011, confirmed that he will not be in the reboot. “Like the rest of the world, I am very excited as a viewer.When asked if he would be part of the series, Radcliffe replied: “I don’t think so.
