It can be argued that no artist has had a bigger success recently than Jelly Roll. “Halfway to Hell” lyrics by Jelly Roll

I am a county jail revival
I am a bottle and a Bible
I am a Rolling Stone disciple
With a cross on his face
I am a trailer park tornado
Jagged edges on my halo
Hope the car swings low
And carry me away

This little light of mine
I almost burned alive
God knows mom tried
And I don’t know if I

Halfway to heaven or halfway to hell
My angels and demons at war with myself
One foot in the fire and I still can’t say
Am I halfway to heaven?
Halfway to heaven or hell

I am a dive bar Sunday sermon
Holy water with my bourbon
I stand on a bridge and burn
With a canister of petrol
Am I worth saving if I’m getting weaker and weaker?
It feels like I am trapped between
