Singer-songwriter Ben Folds to perform in Kingston in November – Daily Freeman

KINGSTON, NY — The Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter and composer will perform at the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston in November, an announcement said.

As part of his “Paper Airplane Request Tour,” Folds will perform at UPAC, 601 Broadway, on Saturday, November 9 at 8 p.m.

According to the announcement, in addition to his own music, Folds composes for film, television and theater, guest stars in films and television, and serves as artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Folds is the founder of Keys For Kids, a North Carolina organization that provides financial support and keyboards to existing nonprofits that provide free or low-cost music lessons to children.

Ticket prices range from $50.50, $60.50, $70.50 and $90.50. Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 27 at 10 a.m. for Bardavon members and Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. for the general public. To purchase tickets, visit the Bardavon box office, 35 Market St., Poughkeepsie, or the UPAC box offices Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased online at ticketmaster.com, but fees apply.
