Former WWE star arrested while working as security guard for Love

A former WWE wrestler was arrested earlier this month after stabbing a man while working security at a Love’s Travel Stop.

Charles Scaggs, also known as 2 Cold Scorpio and Flash Funk, was arrested on June 15 at Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri.

According to PennLive, Scaggs was working as a security guard at the rest stop when he saw a man lighting a cigarette inside the building and told him he wasn’t allowed to smoke inside. Scaggs says the man then threatened him and the two struggled outside before Scaggs pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in self-defense.

The stabbing did not end the fight, and Scaggs said he had to stab the man “a few more times” before the altercation was over. The man was taken to the hospital after police found him “bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen.” During transport to the hospital, the man “in and out of consciousness.”

Nothing is known about the condition of the stabbed man. It is unclear whether he was a truck driver.

Scaggs, 58, was arrested and charged with two felonies. He has since been released on bail and is due back in court next month. No further information was released.
