Lil Nas X announces “best song ever” – Music News

Lil Nas X has hinted that he is about to release “the best song ever.”

The 25-year-old rapper announced on Instagram on Tuesday evening that his latest single “Here We Go!” will be released on Friday.

“I’m so excited to release the best song ever this Friday,” Nas wrote in the post. “And I’m also sorry for being so scared of my art lately. I’m slowly coming back to myself.”

The Old Town Road hitmaker added: “I’m going to make you very proud.”

The post included the cover of the new song, which features a Detroit Police Department detective’s badge with a portrait photo of the singer.

In the comments section of the post, singer-songwriter Camila Cabello showed her support for Nas, whose real name is Montero Hill.

“Nature has seasons and so do we. There is no spring without winter. It’s your time to bloom baby!!!” she wrote.

Nas and Camila recently collaborated on the former Fifth Harmony star’s new song “He Knows,” which will appear on her upcoming fourth studio album, “C, XOXO.”

“Here We Go!” will be the Industry Baby singer’s third solo release in 2024, following his gospel songs “J Christ” and “Where Do We Go Now?”

Nas released his debut studio album, “Montero,” in 2021. He has not yet released a second album, but recently hinted that he would release a mixtape titled “Naserati 2.”
