Taylor Swift’s true love – her best friend Gigi Hadid – simply put a ring on her finger

A ring for Taylor Swift! From Gigi Hadid! What, did you think we meant something else? Please.

The model and the pop star have been friends for a long time, so Hadid commissioned a jeweler in London to make a custom ring for Swift, featuring all of the singer’s “favorite things,” like her cat Benjamin Button and an engraving of the letters “TTPD,” also known as The “Tortured Poets” sectionSwift’s latest album. (Swift’s other cats, Meredith and Olivia, could not be reached for comment.)

“What an absolute honor to create something special for Taylor Swift!!!!!!! ❤️‍🔥🇬🇧🐾 Gifted to her by her best friend, this piece features her famous cat Benjamin Button surrounded by a shiny beaded border with burning hearts on either side. One side features her favorite number 13 and the other side features Travis Kelce’s jersey number 87. This ring is meant to carry her favorite things with her at all times. It was incredible to see her shine on stage in London and we’ll keep our eyes peeled to hopefully see her wearing it soon 🙌🏻,” the designer, who makes bespoke pieces by hand, wrote on Instagram.

“It’s perfect☺️ thank you ux,” Hadid captioned the post. Since it’s a custom piece, you can’t buy it for yourself (though Etsy will no doubt have copycats by the end of the week), but if you want something similar, Cece Jewellery is selling a very pretty “Rose & Diamond Ring” for $3,882.71.

Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce recently went on a double date with Hadid and her boyfriend Bradley Cooper, with Kelce affectionately calling the actor and director “Big Coop” on his podcast. Swift also reportedly loaned the couple her Rhode Island mansion early in their relationship, so perhaps this ring is Hadid’s way of saying thank you. And yet I keep picking people up from the airport and no one gives me a single cupcake!
