Linda Robson’s fans are speechless as she tearfully introduces her famous son

Linda Robson, for some unlikely reason, became a trend on X (formerly Twitter) after she was caught breaking down in tears in a sweet video shared on social media.

The 66-year-old Loose Women star was seen at the Emirates Stadium in north London watching Arsenal take on Bournemouth in the club’s latest Premier League clash in a highly exciting title race.

The “Birds of a Feather” actress was visibly moved as Arsenal FC’s anthem, “The Angel (North London Forever),” rang out throughout the stadium and fans sang along at the top of their lungs.

A fan then explained her tears, sharing that it was the first time Linda had heard the song, written and sung by her son Louis Dunford, at a game.

A social media user who shared the video wrote: “Louis Dunford’s mother, Linda Robson, reacted when she heard her son’s song ‘North London Forever’ for the first time on the Emirates.”

It didn’t take long for fans to rush to comment on the heartwarming footage of Linda, with many admitting they had absolutely no idea she was the mother of singer-songwriter and famous Arsenal fan Louis.

One Gunners fan tweeted: “I’m absolutely ecstatic” when he discovered the connection between Louis and Linda, while another added: “I had no idea Linda was Louis’ mum.”

“Linda Robson is Louis Dunford’s mother WAIT WHAT?” shouted a third person. A fourth was equally shocked, writing: “LINDA ROBSON IS HIS MOTHER!? FUCK OFF!?”

A fifth commented on the fan frenzy: “I’m glad I’m not the only one who was shocked yesterday when I found out that Linda Robson is Louis Dunford’s mother…”

However, other social media users were more informed about the connection between Louis and Linda. One quipped: “People were shocked that Linda Robson is Louis’ mother,” adding a crying-with-laughter emoji mocking the huge reaction to the news.

Another questioned other Twitter users about their stunned reactions to the video, writing: “Am I the only one who knew Linda Robson was his mother?”

Linda’s son Louis, born and raised in north London and a lifelong Arsenal fan, wrote ‘The Angel (North London Forever)’ as a tribute to Islington and his family and friends from the area.

Two months after the song was released, Arsenal fans were spreading the word on social media and pushing for it to be made the football club’s pre-match anthem – an idea that Gunners manager Mikel Arteta fully endorsed.

Linda confirmed that she and Louis’ father Mark Dunford separated in November last year.

The actress and Mark, the owner of a window cleaning company, have two children together, while Linda also has a daughter, Lauren, 40, with her ex Tony Tyler.
