She’s still Jenny From the Block.
Sunny Hostin commented on Jennifer Lopez’s decision to fly in economy class on a commercial aircraft, which made the pop star more relatable after she canceled her tour to spend more time with her family.
“I thought it humanized her. We’ve all flown economy. I still fly economy and she had her bodyguard and her purse with her, so she had the whole row in economy,” Hostin told TMZ.
“So she’s still Jenny From the Block. I like that.”
However, the 55-year-old host contradicted the statement that the “Let’s Get Loud” singer had chosen a scheduled flight in order to appear more approachable.
“I don’t think so,” said the morning show co-host. “I think she’s Jenny From the Block.”
Lopez, 54, was spotted in economy class on a KLM flight from Naples to Paris last weekend ahead of Paris Fashion Week.
The mother of two children was on holiday in Italy alone as her relationship with her husband Ben Affleck, who has not yet travelled abroad to be with his better half, continues to be plagued by divorce rumors.
A source told Page Six exclusively that Lopez flies on a scheduled airline “frequently” and the decision to take this particular flight was not an indication of financial problems.
“She’s not short of money,” the insider added. “She’s had a very successful year.”
The “Selena” star attended the Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show alone, but appeared in good spirits as she waved to fans and posed for photos with a big grin on her face.
The Oscar winner, meanwhile, berated the paparazzi on Sunday night for blinding him with their bright flashbulbs as he drove away from his and Lopez’s $60 million marital home, which is up for sale.
“Listen, man, you’re going to get me in an accident,” Affleck, 51, can be heard telling one of the cameramen in one video. “Don’t signal when I’m coming down the driveway.”
As a shutterbug continued to snap despite the “Air” star’s anger, Affleck mentioned the safety of his children.
“Stop it, man. What you’re doing is dangerous. Do you understand that?” Affleck said. “I can’t see anything. If you do that shit, someone will get hurt.”
“For God’s sake, my daughter is coming down here.”
