Jonathan Taylor from Wisconsin is one of the best fantasy RBs for the NFL 2024 according to PFF

Former Wisconsin Badgers running back and current Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is one of the best running backs in fantasy football in 2024, according to ProFootballFocus.

Taylor is ranked 5th overall, behind only Christian McCaffrey (RB) of the San Francisco 49ers, Breece Hall (RB) of the New York Jets, Bijan Robinson (RB) of the Atlanta Falcons and Jahmyr Gibbs (RB) of the Detroit Lions.

The college football legend rushed for 741 yards and 7 touchdowns on 169 carries in just 10 games in 2023. He continues to try to stay healthy throughout the season and build on his form from 2021, when he rushed for 1,811 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Health is the only variable for Taylor. Otherwise, he is arguably the second-best running back in the NFL behind McCaffrey.

Here’s what PFF said about the former Badger, who will join the team in 2024:

Jonathan Taylor missed a lot of time last season, appearing in just nine games during the fantasy season. When active, he still managed nearly 18 opportunities (carries plus targets) per game and delivered 0.38 PPR points per snap. Taylor is locked in as the Colts’ running back this season, and while his main competition for runs will be his quarterback, he should still be able to find his 2021 form with a full season under his belt.
