Netflix announced yesterday that popular actor David Dastmalchian, who has worked on major projects such as The Dark Knight, Late Night With The Devil and Oppenheimerwill now play Mr. 3 in the next season of the live-action series.
This is really a big update for One piece Fans, because the role of Mr. 3 is important. Not only does he play an important role in the Alabasta Saga, but he also has a great significance in the Marineford arc. One piece Fans are confident that Dastmalchian will do justice to the character as he is already a huge fan of the anime and manga industry.
He once revealed that after working in major MCU and DCU films, the actor would like to be part of the live-action adaptation of the popular series. Vampire Hunter Dof which there are several anime and video game adaptations.

In an interview with Crunchyroll, the Dark Knight The actor once revealed that he is a huge anime and manga fan and the community has a huge influence on him. He even pointed out that he feels there are many well-known anime and live-action adaptations that he would like to be a part of as they will be fun for him and the audience to watch.
Dastmalchian explained:
While I do think about the effect that all the media that I consume has on me, I was just thinking about this the other day and I thought, I really believe that there are a number of anime adaptations that haven’t happened yet or that might happen soon. And I feel like if I had the chance to be in that space, I could bring something really dynamic and entertaining to it.
Dastmalchian is portrayed as Mr. 3 in One piece The live-action adaptation is a big step for the actor, as he has been a big fan of the industry since childhood.

Dastmalchian believes that working on a live-action film would be challenging because the facial expressions and emotions of an anime character are extreme and it would not be easy to bring those emotions to life.
David Dastmalchian wants to be part of the Vampire Hunter D universe
While talking about his love for the anime and manga industry, David Dastmalchian expressed his desire to work on a live-action adaptation of Vampire Hunter D as the main character of the series.
Vampire Hunter D takes place in a post-nuclear war world in which the main character is half human, half vampire.
Dastmalchian revealed:
There’s an extreme, there’s an extreme in emotion and action and expression that almost reminds me of the Italian theater of the Comedia del Art, and I don’t know, I feel like we need the live-action Vampire Hunter D movie starring David Dastmalchian. I’ll just upload that, or I don’t know what it actually is. I think it’s black, but I really want to play Sebastian. I don’t know what studio would ever approve that.
The Japanese fantasy horror anime film, based on the light novel series, would be a perfect opportunity for Dastmalchian to star in a live-action adaptation, as the actor has mostly taken on such dark roles.
