Chris Brown doesn’t let a technical problem interrupt his show.

The 35-year-old Grammy winner, who is currently on his 11:11 Tour, encountered a minor issue during his stop in Newark, New Jersey on Wednesday, June 12. During his performance at the Prudential Center, the entertainer became stuck in mid-air due to a defect in his suspension wires.

A fan video of the incident shared on TikTok shows Brown hanging upside down while singing his 2019 hit “Under the Influence.”

Although the singer was supposed to float above the arena, he was also supposed to come down again – which, however, took much longer than expected.

“He was definitely trying to signal that he was stuck,” TikTok user terriem89 wrote under the clip.

Despite the uncomfortable position, the R&B singer continued to sing into his microphone. Between his lyrics, Brown was seen looking away from the stage, presumably to a member of the crew, and he seemed annoyed by the situation.

Since he couldn’t do anything at that moment, the “Superhero” singer decided to make the best of the situation and started dancing above the crowd while belting out his ballad.

“I’m so sorry but it’s like he just accepted he was stuck and started vibrating a bit until Paw Patrol came to the rescue 😂😂😂😂,” one fan commented on TikTok.

“Imagine the chaos backstage trying to find the ladder,” wrote another, adding a series of laughing emojis.

In a follow-up video posted by the same TikTok user, terriem89 showed crew members carrying a large ladder onto the stage to help the singer maintain his balance while he untied the wires from his waist.

As Brown lay on the ground, he still seemed upset about how the situation was handled, as he made eye contact with other crew members backstage. However, he remained calm as he continued to sing and interact with his fans in the audience.
