Chris Rock’s “Everybody Still Hates Chris”: Cast of Voice Actors Announced

Comedy Central has announced the voice cast for Everyone still hates Chris, his upcoming reimagined animated version of Chris Rock’s popular autobiographical family comedy Everyone hates Chris.

Original stars Rock, Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold return for the series, along with new cast members Imson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh and Gunnar Sizemore.

The premiere on Comedy Central is scheduled for later this year.

Everyone still hates Chris In “The 40 Years of Crime,” Rock stars as an adult Chris, who tells stories inspired by his childhood as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, in the late 1980s. Crews voices Julius, Chris’ father, who is a gentle giant with a relentless work ethic and a miserly individual. Arnold is Rochelle, Chris’ mother, who is smart, strong-willed and caring, but can also be hotheaded, especially when it comes to her children.

Everyone still hates Chris is produced by Eye Animation Productions, the animation arm of CBS Studios. Showrunners Sanjay Shah, Ali LeRoi and Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky of 3 Arts Entertainment are executive producers, alongside Rock of Chris Rock Enterprises. Titmouse serves as the animation studio, and Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina are executive producers.
