Michigan State Football signs three-star CB Aydan West from Maryland for 2025

The flood of three-star talent continues to pour into East Lansing as new Michigan State football coach Jonathan Smith signs his 11th contract.th Commit – all three-star players – on Tuesday evening.

Maryland cornerback Aydan West joined the Spartans via livestream.

The standout from Quince Orchard of Gaithersburg, Maryland, is ranked as the No. 91 cornerback nationally and the No. 28 player in Maryland, according to 247 Sports’ overall rankings.

OVER THE WEEKEND: Michigan State Football adds 3-star CB George Mullins from Florida to 2025 recruiting class

West chose the Spartans over a final round of six other schools: Cincinnati, Duke, Penn State, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound player is the second defensive back to join the Spartans for 2025, following Florida CB George Mullins on Saturday. West’s signing puts the Spartans in the No. 55 class for 2025, according to 247 Sports’ rankings.
