Céline Dion’s new documentary contains a terrifying 10-minute scene in which the singer suffers an epileptic seizure ON CAMERA!

Celine Dion didn’t want to leave out ANY part of her health struggle in her new documentary.

I am: Celine Dion officially met Prime Video on Tuesday, and there is a shocking addition that shows how bad things are for the grammy Winner. In the film, there is a ten-minute scene where the 56-year-old suffers a horrific seizure, screaming in pain as her body thrashes wildly and uncontrollably while she lies on a table – and it is REALLY hard to watch.

After a grueling period, medical professionals administer a nasal spray to relieve some of her muscle spasms. A while later, she is finally able to sit up and regain control of her body. She says to the camera:

“Every time something like that happens, you’re so embarrassed and, I don’t know how to put it, it’s just… you know, like you’re not in control.”

It’s so heartbreaking to see her like this.

As we have already seen, Céline is battling stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that causes painful muscle spasms and stiffness. And the I’m alive Singer wanted EVERYTHING in front of the camera. Director Irene Taylor told Yahoo on Tuesday that Céline “didn’t want me to change anything” after seeing the footage:

“Her therapist saw the (medical) incident coming on, and within 30 seconds there was no turning back. We just reacted as fast as we could. We really couldn’t move from that corner of the room. I held a microphone (and used it) to measure whether she was breathing or not. It was very disturbing. Very disturbing. I know it’s hard for some viewers, it was hard for me too. But I can tell you that Céline felt validated to see herself that way, and she thought it would help her if other people could understand what (SPD) is like.”

Very brave.

So creepy. Ugh. Will you watch I am: Celine Dion? Let us know in the comments below…
