2024 College World Series live: Updates, lineups for Kentucky-Florida

The 2024 College World Series resumes early Wednesday with a delayed matchup in Bracket 2. The Florida Gators and Kentucky Wildcats will face off for the second time this season to determine who advances and faces Texas A&M on Wednesday night in Omaha.

The Gators and Wildcats were originally scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, but organizers have postponed the game due to impending weather. That puts both teams in a bind; the winner will have just a few hours to rest and face Texas A&M with their title chances on the line.

The first meeting between these two teams in the 2024 season took place on May 11, when Florida won 10-1 in Gainesville.
