After the release of her emotional song “The End” Halsey offers a preview of another track from their upcoming album.

In the upbeat song called “Lucky,” Halsey sings about someone—possibly herself—who cares too much about what others think. “Everyone’s lining up to meet the girl who’s flown too high/ Who’s doing it all just to be liked/ By strangers she met online,” she sings in a Excerpt published on social media.

“Did all this to fit in/ My self-hatred runs so deep/ My inner child remains unrecruited/ The truth is, I’m not cut out for this.”

The visuals show Halsey wears a Y2K look: bright pink wig, turquoise crop top, skimpy shorts and blue eye shadow. She also carries a retro flip phone and Walkman earphones.

There is no information about when the song will be released.

Meanwhile, Halsey walked the red carpet for the first time since announcing her lupus diagnosis: the premiere of her new film, MaXXXine, in Hollywood on Monday. Halsey wore a extremely insightful two piece golden dress and big hairstyle for the event.

Halsey plays a character named Tabby in the film, in which the main role plays Mia Goth as the title character: a porn star who has his big break, while a killer stalks Hollywood starlets. It is the third part of the series, which was preceded by X And Pearl. The film will be released on July 5th.
