Chris Rock is reportedly angry at Will Smith and “Bad Boys 4” because a slapping scene was included in it

A few years ago, Chris Rock was slapped by Will Smith at the Oscars. The reason for this was a joke Smith made about Jada Pinkett Smith. At the time, it was one of the most viral outbursts of all time. The discussion surrounding it was quite sensational, but Smith was able to get over it and continue his career in Hollywood. Rock, on the other hand, remains upset with Smith and has stated time and time again that he is still upset about what happened.

Recently, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence teamed up for Bad Boys 4 which proved to be a huge box office hit. There is a scene in the film where Smith punches someone extremely hard in the face. Of course, the scene is meant to be a reference to the now iconic slap in the face. While moviegoers found it funny, Rock seems to think otherwise. According to Hot97A source close to Rock has spoken out against Smith.

Chris Rock is not impressed

“Chris thinks it’s a pretty cheap trick and tells people how lame he thinks it is,” the source explained. “This is a classic case of Will making light of a terrible situation. Will is playing the victim. It was the lowest point of his career, but that’s no excuse.”
