Kelce reveals his three favorite Taylor songs

Kelce reveals which Swift hits he loves the most, sharing that he “actually started listening to Taylor’s music when she came out with 1989.” He explained that he knew who Swift was before the 2014 album. “We are the same age, so I knew from high school when she started her career,” he continued. “But I think 1989 that’s when things started to get really crazy.”

The 34-year-old, whose birthday is October 5th while Swift’s birthday is December 13th, explained why his favorite song by her is 1989“So I say ‘Blank Space’ because that was the first one. So I’m putting that at number one,” he said of his ranking.

Despite moving from the top spot to second and third, Kelce then said, “I’ll take number two, ‘Cruel Summer.’ ‘Cruel Summer’ is the song that she opens her show with, and when she comes out and it’s just fucking electric in the stadium, she’s such an absolute blast.” He recalled how “hyped up” he was when Swift sang “Cruel Summer” at the first Eras tour show he attended.

For his third choice, Travis chose a song from their latest release. The “Tortured Poets” section album. Smiling, he says, “‘So High School.’ It has a slightly sentimental meaning, I guess,” he said, then casually recited the lyrics: “You know how to play. I know Aristotle.”

As we recently reported, Kelce was on stage with Swift over the weekend when she performed her third London gig. A source told ET that Travis “was so excited to support Taylor on stage and Taylor couldn’t be happier to feature him, especially during such a fun, pivotal scene in the show.”

The moment came during The “Tortured Poets” section era, when Swift changed from a dress to a two-piece thanks to her backup dancers. Wearing a black tuxedo and top hat to match Swift’s other dancers, Travis carried his girlfriend to a seat. He stood back and fanned himself as the other two dancers dressed her out of her dress and into a white blazer while he stood back and smiled.

Swift posted the special moment on social media on Monday (June 24), writing of her boyfriend of nearly a year: “And I’m still laughing my head off/swooning in love over @killatrav’s Eras tour debut (heart face emoji). I’ll never forget those shows.”
