“The 9-hour drive was worth it” – Boy has tears in his eyes when he sees Jelly Roll sing “Song Of A Sinner”

“The 9-hour drive was worth it” – Boy has tears in his eyes when he sees Jelly Roll sing “Song Of A Sinner”

Ladies and gentlemen, that is exactly what music is about.

Whether you like his music or not, there are few people who can say with any honesty that jellyroll isn’t one of the most inspirational guys in the country music business right now. It’s clear that his music has a profound impact on people, both young and old, who may feel like life hasn’t given them a chance. He’s a voice of hope for those who feel like they have no reason to have hope. It’s really cool to see that.

Although he spent much of his youth behind barsThe rapper turned country superstar has completely turned his life around and is now a shining example of positivity and change for adults and youth around the world.

Not only does he seem like a great guy to hang out with, but he is constantly giving back to the communities that mean the most to him and has opened a recording studio in the Nashville youth prison where he was once incarcerated, and Play shows for his old cell block.

But it’s not just the inmates behind bars who find hope in Jelly’s message and this video is the perfect proof of that.

Last weekend Jelly played Nebraskaland Days in North Platte, Nebraska, and in the audience was a little boy who had recently discovered his love of music thanks to Jelly Roll.

In a video posted by his mother, we can see the child singing along and starting to cry as Jelly breaks in “Son of a sinner”, his first country music number 1 of his 2021 Ballads of the Broken album. To enhance the moment, the boy even wore a t-shirt with part of the lyrics on it and seeing his eyes get emotional is enough to bring tears to your eyes.

“His favorite artist was worth the 9-hour drive”

A truly beautiful moment that was made even better when both Jelly and his wife Bunnie XO commented on the now viral post.

Jelly said:

“He is so sweet! I literally start crying when I see him so excited – thank you for that”

And Bunnie simply said:

“I love this sweet boy”

An incredible moment that reminds us that music is meant to make us feel something. There’s nothing wrong with singing a drinking song every now and then, but the best artists are the ones that bring out something in us that we didn’t even know was there.

Keep up the good work, Jelly, because it really is incredible.
