During his playing career, the former Napoli star became synonymous with his iconic mohawk hairstyle.

Now Marek Hamsik wears a more conventional look.

The former midfielder has a classic short haircut with a fade effect at the back and sides.

The Slovakian star scored 121 goals in 520 appearances for the Italian team, achieving legendary status.

He then played for Dalian Professional, IFK Göteborg and Trabzonspor before ending his football career last year.

Hamsik played 138 international matches for his country, scoring 26 goals and taking part in three major tournaments.

Throughout the journey he wore his iconic hairstyle, which has since fallen by the wayside.
