Carly Pearce reveals song she can no longer sing after diagnosis

Grammy-winning country singer Carly Pearce has been riding the wave of success for several years.

She recently announced that she was diagnosed with a heart condition called pericarditis, which limits her activity until she is treated.

Carly Pearce reveals which songs are causing her problems after being diagnosed with heart disease

In conversation with the singer of “I Hope You’re Happy Now” on Taste of Country Nights with Evan PaulPearce began to explain what she needs to do while doctors work to control her heart condition.

Pearce said: “I have to keep my heart rate at a certain level, both in everyday life and on stage. That means exercising, walking around on stage, singing, all that stuff… I just can’t overdo it.”

Knowing that her heart rate needs to stay below a certain BPM, I asked her if there is a song in her live performance that she has difficulty singing because she cannot control her heart rate.

I wear my Apple Watch during shows now and it’s crazy how much my heart rate goes up… I always joked that it’s really hard to sing “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” I guess because my heart rate goes up all on its own.

It was hard to tell if Pearce meant that the song was vocally challenging and that it made her heart race, or if the song scared her because she had experienced it once and written about it and now had to relive those memories.

If you attend one of Pearce’s live shows and she comes on for her duet with Chris Stapleton, you should know that it’s not easy for the country singer to get through this song right now.

Be that as it may, Pearce assured us in an exclusive health update that she is indeed slowly but surely getting better day by day.
