Jade Thirlwall has officially launched her solo career and gives a taste of her upcoming debut single.

New music from Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall is officially on the way and she has just confirmed her stage name, set up her own solo page on streaming platforms, and announced a teaser for a brand new song!

Jade has confirmed that she will be called “JADE” and will drop her last name for her next project. She has also already uploaded a song teaser with the file name “file_00263”.

Sharing a screenshot of her “daylist” on Instagram Stories, she teased her upcoming song, writing, “Angelic, chaotic, dreamy Tuesday morning since I’ve been listening to chaotic pop, dreamy, bittersweet and file_00263.mp3,” alongside the songs “Starburster” by Fontaines DC, “Sweet Dreams” by Beyoncé, and “Puppet On A String” by Sandie Shaw.

And if you listen to file_00263.mp3, fans can hear Jade describe her new song.

She says, “You know what I mean? It should feel a little bit like Frankenstein, but in a really beautiful way, and that’s something that the microphone is excellent at and that can all blend together production-wise.”

Jade’s vocals can be heard in the background, droning over the top with a mystical, trembling effect.

The other producers in the room can be heard telling Jade, “This is so cool,” after getting a sneak peek of the song.

Her debut single is believed to contain a sample of Sandy Shaw’s “Puppet on a String”.

Jade’s teasers come a day after she shared a TikTok about being tired of waiting to share her new music. She is believed to be working on her solo content since Little Mix took a break in 2022.

Fans believe Jade has been teasing new music for weeks after she wore a pink one-piece with a shooting star print in April. In May, she was spotted wearing the pattern again, this time on a grey zip-up hoodie, leading fans to believe she was dropping hints about what to expect from her new music.
