Suri Cruise drops her last name and cuts ties with her famous/terrible father

We really hope Tom Cruise had a lot of fun in London this weekend.

The actor’s daughter seems to have reacted to her father’s decision to skip her high school graduation in favor of a Taylor Swift concert by officially turning him down.

In fact, Suri Cruise is doing everything she can to distance herself from Tom Cruise.

As previously reported, Cruise danced around at a stop on the Eras Tour on Saturday instead of cheering on his 18-year-old daughter as she received her diploma.

According to Page Six, Suri celebrated with her mother Katie Holmes and many friends in Manhattan – and she also bore the name Suri Noelle in the graduation brochure.

This decision was not made in direct response to Tom’s decision NOT to attend the event, as the decision must have been printed long in advance.

But we must assume Is a decision Suri made in response to her father simply not being a part of her life.

The teenager also used her middle name on a recent school theater program.

The latter has been extremely involved in his daughter’s life as a father, often shielding her from the limelight, but also raving about Suri when asked about it.

“I’m very grateful to be a parent, to be her parent,” the Dawson’s Creek alumnus told Glamour in April 2023. “She’s an incredible person.”

Tom, for his part, has no idea what kind of person she is.

Various media outlets have reported that Tom hasn’t seen Suri in YEARS.

According to a sweatshirt she wore in a TikTok video a few weeks ago, Suri might attend Carnegie Mellon this fall.

This is a great college. It’s nice to see that the lack of a relationship with her father has slowed Suri down a bit.

“I always hope she does something in my films. I always ask her,” Holmes told Glamour last year about Suri, who sings in two of her films.

“But both experiences came from the same feeling that I love about our industry, which is that you have these projects and you form a family with the people.

“And it’s this safe, beautiful, creative space. So for me, it’s a declaration of love to include someone I love very much.

“This is how I like to work. I like to have that feeling. It was very meaningful for me to have her there because she is my heart.”

On the other hand, Tom could I have Suri’s number, that’s his phone. Maybe.
