Travis Kelce reveals the moment he started falling in love with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce tells of his love story with Taylor SwiftThe 34-year-old tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs spoke in the last episode of Kissing with the boys Podcast about why he fell in love with the “End Game” singer.

In September 2023 Swift made her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City as the Chiefs faced the Chicago Bears, confirming her romance with the NFL star.

An eyewitness at the game compared to ET that Taylor “was just so normal and just watching the game comfortably with Mama Kelce (Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis and Jason Kelce).”

Travis confirmed this attitude and noted that Swift refused additional security during her performance.

“The first game she came to, against the Bears. I was like, ‘OK, I could probably get you everything,’ and she just walked through the front door,” Travis said on the podcast. “There’s no need to talk to security and make sure she gets to her… She was like, ‘I just want to be with my family and friends and experience this with everyone.’ She got a lot of points for that. I was like, ‘Damn, she’s crazy. She wants to support me and do stuff like that.’ She really sold me on that.”

Travis mentioned Swift’s support at the Super Bowl, noting, “She’s very confident… she understands these situations. I think that’s why I really fell in love with her. How genuine she is with friends and family. With so much attention, it can drive someone crazy. She just stays so relaxed and cool.”

The New heights The podcast co-host talked about the decision to make his romance with Swift public.

“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything, you know? That’s my girl. That’s my wife,” he said of the top singer. “So, it’s like, I’m proud of it. I’m not sitting here trying to juggle, ‘How can I keep this a secret?’ You just don’t want to be able to let everyone in on your private life and make comments when you know that everything she does is making headlines.”

He admitted that the extra attention from the Swifties was difficult for him at times, but said he was taking each moment in his stride.

“I enjoyed almost every aspect of it,” he said. “It’s just that when you’re at home, you want your privacy. And you don’t always get that.”

Travis recently took things to the next level at his lady love’s London shows on her Eras Tour. After attending all three nights of performances at Wembley Stadium, the athlete shocked fans on the third night. carries Swift on stage in tailcoat and jacket and takes part in a sweet sketch that prepares her for the next set of songs.

A source previously told ET: “Taylor and Travis recently talked about Travis being able to perform on stage on the Eras tour when the time was right, and they finally made it happen. Travis was so excited to support Taylor on stage, and Taylor couldn’t be happier to feature him, especially during such a fun, pivotal scene in the show.”

Travis’ cameo appearance took place during The “Tortured Poets” section era, when Swift goes from a dress to a two-piece thanks to her backup dancers. Travis – who wore a black tuxedo and top hat to match Taylor’s other dancers – carried his girlfriend of about a year onto the stage and stood by as her two other dancers took off her dress while he stood back and smiled.

The source told ET that while Travis’ appearance was manicured to perfection — including a sweet moment where he pretended to put makeup on Taylor’s face before she started singing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” — he only had a few hours to pull himself together.

The source added: “Travis only had one night of rehearsals, the night before his performance, and didn’t miss a beat. Taylor was all smiles as Travis took on the dapper role. The pair hope he can make another guest appearance in the future.”
