Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny granted the motion to terminate the conservatorship in November 2021.

He has remained loyal to her as an attorney for the past three years to resolve many legal issues, but now he no longer represents the singer, according to a statement from THR.

He recently settled an ongoing dispute with Spears’ father Jamie over his legal fees in April, after Spears had raved about him in May.

Rosengart said there is currently no active litigation against Spears and thanked the singer in a statement.

“It has been an honor to serve as litigation counsel for Britney and work with her to achieve her goals of obtaining the court-ordered suspension of her former conservatorship, followed by the restoration of her constitutional and civil rights, while we continue to protect her and most recently extricate her from all outstanding litigation and the byzantine probate processes. As I have always said, the credit goes to Britney,” Rosengart said in a statement.

In a further statement on April 26, he added: “As she requested, her freedom now includes the freedom from having to appear in court or be involved in legal proceedings in this matter.”

Although Rosengart has performed a number of other duties behind the scenes for Spears, his primary role has been as a litigator. Now his services are no longer needed.

There was an understanding between the singer and the lawyer that the agreement would end at some point, and that is now the case.

Rosengart was also instrumental in helping the singer land her huge deal with Simon & Schuster for her bestselling memoir, The Woman In Me.

He also helped draft a prenuptial agreement for her marriage to Sam Asghari, obtain a restraining order against her ex Jason Alexander, and more.

Last month, she praised Rosengart after he helped her following her bizarre incident at the Chateau Marmont.

Rosengart has a number of other high-profile clients such as Sean Penn, Steven Spielberg, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Eddie Vedder and Jimmy Butler.

Additionally, he has been named one of America’s Best Lawyers by several publications and “The King of Hollywood Trial Lawyers” by Variety.
