West Point Band presents the 2024 concert series

WESTERN POINT – The West Point Band is pleased to announce the return of its annual “Music Under the Stars” concert series. The season will kick off with our first two concerts at the Eisenhower Hall Theater, followed by the grand reopening of the Trophy Point Amphitheater for our famous Independence Day celebration and the remainder of the season. Additional performances will be held throughout the Hudson Valley. From June through September, our diverse program promises something for everyone, from classic tunes and Broadway hits to patriotic anthems and rock, pop and R&B. Audiences are welcome to bring picnics, visit the beautiful and historic grounds of the United States Military Academy and enjoy scenic views of the Hudson River while the West Point Band plays a wide variety of world-class music. Join us at the Eisenhower Hall Theater and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of “Pure Imagination” – a concert that combines timeless classics such as “Pure Imagination” from “Wonka” and Jupiter from Gustav Holst’s “The Planets” with modern wonders such as “Firefly” by Ryan George and Linsay Bronnenkant’s mystical “Tarot”. Together with former West Point Band members, we take you on a journey through nostalgia, wonder and magic.

Independence Day celebration

There’s no better way to celebrate America’s independence than with the Army’s oldest band – back at the legendary Trophy Point Amphitheater! Grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy a wide variety of music, from Americana and Broadway to today’s most popular hits and everything in between, performed by the world-class soldier musicians of the West Point Band. As always, this performance will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over the Hudson River. For those unable to attend in person, this event will be live-streamed on YouTube.
