Princess Charlotte – who recently saw Taylor Swift in concert with her father Prince William and older brother Prince George – is the biggest Swiftie of the royals.

“Princess Charlotte is the biggest Taylor Swift fan in the family,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on Monday.

“She had been wanting to go to the concert for months, but since her mother is being treated for cancer, it was a very special day for her to be able to celebrate her dad’s birthday in this way.”

Charlotte, 9, and George, 10, celebrated their father’s 42nd birthday at Swift’s first Eras tour show in London on Friday.

William’s wife Kate Middleton, who announced in March that she was undergoing “preventive chemotherapy” for an unspecified type of cancer, was not present.

Instead, according to ET, she stayed at home with her youngest child, 6-year-old Prince Louis.

“Charlotte absolutely loved (the concert),” the source said. “They are truly wonderful children. William and Kate have raised all three of them fantastically.”

After the show, the singer and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, had a private meet-and-greet with the royals backstage.

“Happy birthday M8! The London shows are off to a great start 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤝@princeandprincessofwales,” Swift, 34, captioned a group selfie taken by the Prince and Princess of Wales from a different perspective, “Thank you @taylorswift for a great night! #LondonTSTheErastour.”

The source specifically emphasized that Charlotte and George “understand and appreciate how lucky they are to meet someone like Taylor Swift.”

Meanwhile, an insider close to William stressed that he didn’t mind his “dad dance” to “Shake It Off” going viral because he was “focused on his wife and children at the moment. He really just wanted it to be a special night for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.”

Last weekend, Middleton, also 42, took part in the Trooping the Colour parade – her first public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis.

“I am looking forward to attending the King’s Birthday Parade with my family this weekend and hope to be able to attend some public engagements over the summer, but I know I am not out of the woods yet,” she said in a statement ahead of the event.

“I’m learning to be patient, especially in times of uncertainty. I’m taking each day as it comes, listening to my body and giving myself the much-needed time to heal.”

Although Middleton assured her fans that she is making “good progress,” she explained that she still has “good days and bad days.”

“On those bad days, you feel weak, tired and need to give your body some rest,” she said. “But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling good.”

She added: “Treatment is ongoing and will continue for several more months.”
