Sabrina Carpenter lands her first No. 1 song on the Hot 100 and adds additional dates for her upcoming arena tour | Music, Sabrina Carpenter | Just Jared: Celebrity news and gossip

Sabrina Carpenter’‘s career just keeps getting hotter and now she’s topping the Hot 100!

The 25-year-old singer has just had her first number 1 hit on the Billboard Chart with “Please Please Please” from her upcoming album Short and sweet.

The song landed at number 2 in the charts last week and Sabrina made chart history by reaching number 3 with “Espresso”. This week she is at number 1 with “Please Please Please” and number 4 with “Espresso”.

Sabrina wrote on Instagram: “MY FIRST #1 on the @billboard HOT 100!!!!!!! And espresso at #4… I am so incredibly grateful and will surely remember this day for the rest of my life! @jackantonoff @amyallen I love this song to death and I love you both!!!!! I love our high-pitched claps!!!!! I love @sharp_stick !!!! All good things come in threes 🥲. Thank you to everyone who listened and made it so much fun to get these songs out into the world. In her article Sabrina also responded to criticism from a Twitter troll who reviewed the song, saying, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone screw up a second single like that. Oh my goodness.” She attached the screenshot of the tweet and was clearly clapping back by flaunting the song’s success!

Sabrina is also adding shows to her upcoming tour!
