There is a slight risk of severe weather with strong winds and heavy rain in southeast Michigan during the week

4Warn Weather – Monday is a picture-perfect night for the Ford fireworks!

Clear skies and a light breeze will make for a very pleasant experience at the big fireworks display in the city center on Monday evening.

This year’s weather is a pleasant surprise compared to last year’s rain and cool temperatures. Nighttime temperatures drop to around 18 degrees, providing a pleasant environment for outdoor activities.

Tuesday

There may be rain showers and possible thunderstorms in the morning and evening on Tuesday. The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has classified southeast Michigan as at a low risk of severe weather, the lowest threat level.

Gusty winds and heavy rain are the main dangers immediately after the morning rush hour. Maximum temperatures on Tuesday will be around 30 degrees, with humidity slightly higher. There is a further risk of storms overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday until the early hours of the morning.

Wednesday

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms on Wednesday, especially south of I-94. Most of the day will be partly sunny and pleasant, with highs around 27 degrees.

Thursday

For the start of the Rocket Mortgage Classic on Thursday, it will be nice and dry, with sunshine and highs of around 21 degrees.
