All about the ring Gigi Hadid gave Taylor Swift “to carry her favorite things with her”

It’s nice to have a friend like Gigi Hadid.

Taylor Swift recently unwrapped a unique gift from her model best friend: a custom ring from Cece Jewellery, “designed to carry her favorite things with her at all times,” jeweler Cece Fein-Hughes shared on Instagram on Monday.

“It was an absolute honor to create something special for Taylor Swift!!!!!!!” Fein-Hughes captioned several shots of the custom-painted, 18-karat yellow gold creation.

“This piece features her famous cat Benjamin Button surrounded by a shiny pearl border with burning hearts on both sides. It features her favorite number 13 on one side and Travis Kelce’s jersey number 87 on the other.”

In addition to the face of Swift’s beloved rescued kitten and the two meaningful numbers, the ring also features a “hidden engraving” on the inside: “TTPD,” a reference to her album “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Swift’s jeweller concluded: “It was incredible to see her shine on the London stage and we will keep our eyes peeled to hopefully see her in it soon.”

Although Fein-Hughes did not mention Hadid by name as the gift giver, the catwalker made it clear by commenting on the post: “It’s perfect… thank you.”

The founder responded, “Thank you for being the best friend a girl could have and picking this piece for Taylor!!”

Fein-Hughes, who is one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 for 2023, studied art history at the University of Exeter before founding her eponymous label. She paints each design by hand before reproducing it in enamel on the final piece.

“Inspired by the storytelling and style of old-fashioned tattoos, Cece tells stories on a gold canvas,” the site’s “About” page states.

“Each design draws on mythology and symbolism, creating and reflecting meaning for the wearer.”

While Swift hasn’t been spotted wearing that particular ring yet, she debuted another symbolic ring during her Eras tour show on Sunday: a Tiffany & Co. design paired with a pair of diamond-studded T-shirts, seemingly hinting that her famous boyfriend will be joining her on stage later that evening.
