X-Men author announces “major plot points” for new series

X-Men: From the Ashes Infinity Comic Author Alex Paknadel recently spoke about the new series and hinted at key plot points throughout the story. In the exclusive Marvel Unlimited app X-Men Series, new teams form to tackle the emerging global threats to mutants after the war against Orchis during the Case of X..

In a chat with AIPT, Paknadel responded to a fan question about important plot points in X-Men: From the Ashes Infinity Comic as opposed to the series, which features more slice-of-life stories. “You can indeed expect major plot points to come up in this series. That said, I will also be writing some slice-of-life stories because I honestly believe that some of the most poignant and effective Marvel stories ever made have been drama-oriented,” he said. Iron Man #182 is my favorite Marvel comic of all time and it’s basically a full issue of Tony Stark at his lowest point, trudging through the snow looking for redemption or destruction.”

Paknadel teased the importance of a fan-favorite character in X-Men: From the Ashes Infinity Comic“I can’t give too much away, but I think it’s OK to say that the Madelyne story leads directly into one of the core X-titles and is therefore not to be missed,” he said.
