Yungeen Ace releases the new song “Do It” after the murder of his rival Julio Foolio and raps about the shooting of his opponents

Yungeneen Ace has released a new song called “Do It” in which he explicitly raps about gunning down his rivals. The song’s release came just hours after his real-life rival Julio Foolio was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Tampa hotel. Foolio’s death was confirmed by his attorney, according to WTSP-TV.

Although Yungeen does not mention Foolio by name, the video posted above shows masked men shooting another man in what appears to be a motel parking lot.

The lyrics of the song are also aptly about shooting someone. “Catch his ass and finish his ass, you know he’s done,” Yungeen raps in the song. “Flip his ass and smoke his ass, we stand by the business,” he continues.

Ace and Foolio have long been involved in a violent feud that escalated in 2017 when Foolio’s cousin was shot and killed. An accomplice of Ace’s was charged with murder, and in 2018, Ace was the target of a retaliatory attack that left his brother and two other people dead.

Foolio celebrated the shootings with various posts on social media. In March 2021, according to HotNewHipHop, Ace released the song “Who I Smoke,” in which he mentioned the names of the Foolio employees who were killed.

Foolio responded a month later with the diss song “When I See You,” in which the rapper mocked Ace and the three people killed in the drive-by. In the official music video, Foolio is seen in a cemetery, lying in a photo of Ace’s brother and his two friends.

Foolio was one of four victims hit in a shooting outside the Holiday Inn in Tampa where he was celebrating his birthday. Foolio had initially been staying at an Airbnb but was kicked out because there were too many people there. He went with the group to the Holiday Inn and was reportedly “ambushed.”

“At approximately 4:40 a.m., Tampa Police received a 911 call regarding a shooting at 11606 McKinley Drive,” Tampa Police said in a statement. “A total of four people were injured in the shooting. One person was pronounced deceased and three other victims are being treated at the hospital. They are currently listed in stable condition.”
