Rumble Club announces additional content coming as part of season two

Mad Mushroom has revealed new details about the content of Rumble Club Season 2, as you can play a new map and mode today.

Indie game developer Lightfox Games and publisher Mad Mushroom today revealed new details about the second season of RumbleClub. Players will have access to a ton of new content, including a new map, a new mode, new items, and a number of other additions to entice you to purchase. We’ve got the details from the developers below and a new video above once the content goes live today.

RumbleClub – Season 2

Season 2 brings a new mode, a new map, seasonal gadgets and fun cosmetics, all with a medieval fantasy theme. Season 2 introduces some new ways and places to play:

• Rumble Run is a new Grand Prix-style multi-round mode where only one Punchie can be crowned champion.
• Tournaments have been added to the Rumble Club! Play in rotating tournaments this season, earn big rewards for your victories, and progress on the seasonal tournament circuit.
• Punchington Castle is a new full-sized map that will appear in all 6 game modes as well as tournaments.
• 4 more new cards also included in tournaments:
  • Lonely island
  • Old Punchie Town
  • Dungeon Depths
  • Walking the planks

The space gadgets from the start are now gone. Instead, there are five new tools that change the meta:

• Sword and shield – Tap to swing your sword and launch enemies upwards and then backwards, delivering punches! Hold to block attacks.
• Crossbow – Fire one piston for a single shot with this crossbow, or charge it to fire a 5-piston spread shot!
• Fairy wings – Fly through the air and sprinkle fairy dust before crashing down, knocking enemies away and dealing punches. Collect fairy dust to increase your speed!
• Horsey – Ride into battle on the horse with your lance. Hit your enemies with the tip of your lance to perform 3 strikes!
• Ogre King – Give the Ogre King your all. Strike down your opponents with a powerful blow in a long, narrow cone that sends them flying and dealing up to 3 hits!

And last but not least, there are tons of fun fantasy cosmetics to earn and unlock in the new Rumble Pass: from royal skins to dragon emotes to epic helmets! This isn’t the only change to the Rumble Pass, which has been revamped to include three times more cosmetic items to earn. Gadget cards have also been moved from the Premium Track to the Free Track for better balance.
