The layout is naturally shaped, I loved being below the fairways on some holes but above the whole course on others.”

If author Kevin Markhamwho has played every golf course in Ireland was here and said: “The designers of Silloth on Solway left quite a legacy, but Mother Nature had the biggest say in the design of the course. The unexpected hills and valleys, the natural greens blending into the terrain, the steep fairways – all this makes for a links paradise.”
