Which Michigan State Spartans will play together at the 2024 Moneyball Pro-Am?

The 2024 Moneyball Pro-Am is just one day away.

Games begin Tuesday at Holt High School and run through August 1st, taking place every Tuesday and Thursday except July 2nd and 4th.

On Sunday, Moneyball Sportswear announced the rosters for the 19th annual Moneyball Pro-Am. The rosters feature players from several schools, including Michigan State, Central Michigan and Grand Valley State.

Here are the participating Spartans and the teams they will play for:

G Coen Carr and G Jase Richardson (Team Faygo)

What a tandem this is going to be. Expect some spectacular dunks that will bring the house down between this pair.

Carr begins his second season with the Spartans, while Richardson, son of Michigan State University basketball legend Jason Richardson, begins his first season with the program.

C Szymon Zapala and G Kur Teng (Team Goodfellas)

Zapala and Teng are both new to Michigan State, with the former joining the Spartans in the offseason and the latter joining as a freshman.

G. Gehrig Normand and F. Jaxon Kohler (Team Tri-State Trust)

Both Normand and Kohler are returners on Michigan State’s team. Normand, a former four-star recruit, is entering his second season with the program while Kohler is entering his third.

G Tre Holloman and C Carson Cooper (Team Snipes)

Holloman and Cooper are both Michigan State veterans and will step into leadership roles this season. The third-year Spartans already have good chemistry heading into this year’s Moneyball Pro-Am, so this duo could be fun to watch this summer.

G Jaden Akins and C Xavier Booker (Team Motorcars)

This tandem is perhaps the most exciting of all. Akins will be the Spartans’ leader next season, while Booker is expected to take on a much more important role.

F. Frankie Fidler and F. Jesse McCulloch (Team Case)

This is another pair that is new to the Michigan State men’s basketball program, as Fidler is a highly sought-after transfer player while McCullouch joins the Spartans as a freshman.

Spartan fans already know what to expect from some of these duos, but this one will be completely new to the fanbase.

According to Moneyball Sportswear, Tuesday’s games will begin at 6 p.m. with a duel between Team Goodellas and Team Case, followed by a performance between Team Faygo and Team Snipes at 7 p.m. and a match between Team Motorcars and Team Tri-Star Trust at 8 p.m. to close out the evening.
