A talented Kilkenny teenager is still in shock after Pink brought one of his paintings on stage during one of her performances in Dublin at the weekend.

Fifteen-year-old Sean Davis, who attends Grennan College in Thomastown, Kilkenny, attended the Pink concert at the Aviva Stadium with his family on Friday.

Sean was sitting in the stadium seating area, but his mother Sharon and sister Leanne managed to get tickets for the Golden Circle.

Since Sean’s mother and sister are huge Pink fans, he painted a portrait of the singer and her father for his mother and sister to bring to the concert, hoping that Pink would see the painting and maybe talk to them.

Sean’s mission was a success as Pink spotted Sharon and Leanne in the crowd holding up Sean’s paintings.

The singer was so impressed by the artwork that she took the painting on stage to show it to the audience.

“It’s still so surreal that she brought my painting on stage with her,” Sean smiled. “My mom and sister are huge Pink fans, so I hoped she would talk to them when she saw the painting in the crowd. But I can’t believe it actually worked.”

“Pink stopped and talked to us for about 40 seconds,” added mother Sharon. “She was so kind and friendly and thanked Sean for the painting in front of the whole crowd.”

This is not the first time Sean’s artwork has caught the eye of a celebrity. The young artist also painted a picture of Olivia Rodrigo and brought it to her concert.

Olivia Rodrigo also discovered her portrait in the crowd and brought it onto the stage.

“I can’t believe that two famous singers noticed my artwork. It’s the best feeling,” said Sean.

Although he clearly has artistic talent, Sean stated that he wants to pursue a career in acting, but also promised that he will not stop painting.

“I really want to go see Billie Eilish next year, so my next goal is to hopefully do a portrait of her,” Sean concluded.
