In a new interview with Business Insider, Starr revealed that the episode where Homelander revisits his past was his favorite episode of the season. The actor explained that what he likes most about playing Homelander is that he delves deep into his dark side, where his vulnerability and ugliness come to the fore. Starr said:
That’s actually my favorite episode of the season. I think we worked on it for a little bit and then we went on set and just let it rip. That’s what I’m really interested in about the character, the deeper, darker places and the vulnerabilities.
