Rumored deleted love scene between Colin and Penelope from Bridgerton season 3 receives clear response

Bridgerton Star Nicola Coughlan and producer Tom Verica have given clear answers to rumors that a love scene between Penelope and Colin was cut from season 3. The main couple from the last season have many hot scenes together showing them consummating their relationship with each other. However, rumors are circulating that another sex scene for Bridgerton Season 3, with the scene in question ending up on the cutting room floor before the show’s release.

Now Coughlan and Verica have responded to fans on Instagram and explained that The rumor Bridgerton The sex scenes between Penelope and Colin from season 3 were never filmed.

The actor explained to a fan that additional scenes were never filmed, while the producer did not know where the claims came from and stated that they were not true. Check out the couple’s comments to fans below:

Tom Verica: I don’t know where all this is coming from, but these claims are false. The alleged scenes listed in these posts do not exist.

Colin and Penelope had the hottest romance yet in Bridgerton

While claims of additional sex scenes between Colin and Penelope have been denied, their romance in Season 3 was the hottest of any couple on the show so far. These include a scene in episode 5 that is six minutes longthe longest love scene the series has ever shown. The length of this scene alone shows how many romantic elements went into the couple’s story. It also hints at a new level of sex scenes that opens the door for future characters.

By the time Bridgerton Season 3 ends, the core couple have experienced two major love scenes, both of which have important implications for the story of their relationship. The long scene takes place when they are engaged, while the final scene comes after Penelope reveals that she is Lady Whistledown. While it’s understandable why more scenes would have been satisfying, especially given the many other couples in the series, the scenes on screen, despite their fewer number, hold great importance to the story.

While it’s a bit disappointing that there weren’t any steamier scenes between Colin and Penelope this season, scenes with other characters in Season 3 suggest there may still be hope for the newlywed couple. It is possible Bridgerton Season 4 will include additional scenes between the couple as their relationship continues to blossom. For now, however, it seems that any love scenes that may have taken place are just rumors. While that doesn’t stop the couple from doing more in the future, it does mean that more won’t suddenly appear in the future.
