ON THURSDAY, JUNE 20TH, SONG FOR THE MUTE WILL WORLDWIDE RE-RELEASE THE ORIGINAL COLORWAY “HONEYCOMB” FROM THE “SFTM-001” COLLABORATION. THIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED RE-RELEASE WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE LAUNCH OF A BRAND NEW SHADOWTURF COLORWAY – “TRIPLE BLACK”.

The third collaborative collection from Song for the Mute and adidas evoked nostalgia with a contemporary twist. This shoe-only release maintains that nostalgic yet modern feel.

Inspired by the organic color palette and contrasting textures of Song for the Mute’s core collections, the “SFTM-001” Shadowturf is revived in “Honeycomb.” Reflecting the success of Song for the Mute’s debut collaboration with adidas Originals, the “SFTM-001” will be re-released globally in “Honeycomb.”

Redesigned by Song for the Mute exclusively for the second collaborative release, the Shadowturf style returns in “Triple Black,” retaining original features such as tonal mesh detailing on the upper, contrasting Three Stripes, reflective elements, signature zigzag stitching, and handwritten collaborative branding. Additional distressing details throughout the “Triple Black” colorway expand Song for the Mute’s exploration of the Shadowturf silhouette.

Photographer Atsushi “Jima” Nishijima and stylist Stephen Mann collaborate again for the campaign, capturing spontaneous moments to create an unconventional energy. Their organic approach to imagery allows the pair to capture in-between moments of models in their free time on film sets – highlighting the beauty of the unconventional.

The Song for the Mute x adidas Shadowturf “Honeycomb” and “Triple Black” release will be available in-store and online at songforthemute.com on June 20, 2024. Participating retailers worldwide will release the collaboration on June 21, 2024.
