Buckingham Palace Royal Guard performs “Shake It Off” before Taylor Swift’s London shows

Even the royal family is full of Swifties, as was evident on Friday when the Royal Guard played Taylor Swift’s music outside Buckingham Palace, hours before the superstar kicked off a series of London shows.

The woodwind and brass performance, shared on Instagram by both the official Royal Family and British Army accounts, featured the Royal Guard’s instrumental rendition of “Shake It Off” – or, as the post joked, “Changing of the Guard (Taylor’s Version).”

“Can’t stop, won’t stop grooving,” was the caption of the charming video, alluding to the lyrics of the hit.

“Shake It Off” comes from Swift’s popular 2014 album “1989” – and last year’s re-recording “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” – and originally debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Friday marks the first of three back-to-back shows Swift will play at London’s Wembley Stadium as part of the European leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour – the first to ever gross over a billion dollars.

Swift shocked fans in Liverpool, England last week when, instead of using the tour’s 100th show and her half-birthday to unveil a new project, she announced that the tour would end in December.
