The club cooperates with Creatory to boost the local creative economy

HKT’s loyalty program ‘The Club’ has collaborated with MoneyHero’s multi-channel B2B2C influencer platform ‘Creativey’ to strengthen Hong Kong’s creator economy.

Launched in 2019 as a dedicated affiliate marketing platform that enables personal finance content creators to monetize their influence, Creatory has grown to become one of MoneyHero Group’s flagship brands. According to the press release, the company generated $13.7 million in revenue for the full year 2023, contributing 17% to group revenue.

This collaboration builds on MoneyHero Group’s long-standing relationship with The Club and represents an important milestone for Creatory as the company expands its presence in Hong Kong.

By partnering with The Club, Creatory can offer influencer marketing solutions outside of personal finance and expand into new areas such as travel, wellness, experiences, loyalty programs and lifestyle, while also leveraging Creatory’s extensive network of content creators to promote its brands and products, among others.

The partnership is also based on research that showed that Hong Kong’s population is very internet-savvy and brands are leveraging the power of influencer marketing to grow.

According to Statista, over 57% of consumers in Hong Kong have purchased products promoted by content creators, highlighting the vibrant creator economy in Hong Kong. Creatory’s collaboration with The Club puts Creatory in a unique position to reach new customer segments and drive business growth.

Rohith Murthy, CEO of MoneyHero Group, said: “We are excited to deepen our collaboration with The Club following the strategic partnership with MoneyHero in 2023. This collaboration extends Creatory’s influencer marketing services to the broader Hong Kong community and opens up new opportunities for our creators to monetize their influence.”

“Over the past few years, Creatory has established itself as a trusted brand through strong partnerships with top-tier financial institutions. This strategic move allows us to connect content creators with a wider range of brands, driving collaboration and growth in new areas. We are excited to lead the future of influencer marketing and help creators succeed,” added Murthy.

“At The Club, we partner with our merchants by delivering engaging experiences to connect our club members. We are excited to join forces with Creatory and leverage Creatory’s social media expertise and our extensive network of lifestyle offerings to create impactful interactions with relevant audiences. Through this collaboration, we aim to better connect with our club members,” said Monita Leung, CEO, Digital Ventures at HKT.

Already in 2023, the club launched its strategic partnership with MoneyHero to provide club members with financial knowledge and information that will enable them to make smarter choices about suitable financial products while also allowing them to collect club points.
