Recent dumping causes turmoil in villa and leads to self-eviction by islanders

SPOILER ALERT: This post contains details about Season 6, Episode 12 of Love Island USA, which aired on Sunday, June 23rd.

Ariana Madix returned to Love Island USA on Sunday night’s episode to announce the results of the public vote. Viewers had voted for their favorite couple, and the three couples with the worst scores were in danger of being kicked off the island.

The couples with the fewest votes were Nicole Jacky & Kendall Washington, Andrea Carmona & Rob Rausch and JaNa Craig & Hakeem White.

Madix had the at-risk islanders stand on either side of her and told the safe islanders that it was up to them to decide who would be kicked off the show. The boys would decide which boy would go, while the girls would choose one of the girls to do the same.

Connor Newsum said they decided to shoot this boy “based solely on the strength of the connections we believe all three of them have.” Newsum said all of the boys unanimously decided to shoot White to protect Rausch and Washington.

On the girls’ side, Serena Page said: “Love Island It’s about finding real connections and being open,” although “some girls come up short more than others.” Page eventually announced that the girls had decided to leave Carmona.

The decision to leave Carmona shocked everyone in the villa, as she had had a seemingly good relationship with Rausch.

Aaron Evans looked over at Rausch, who kept saying, “I’m sorry, buddy.” Rausch decided to leave the villa himself to follow Carmona, feeling like he had already found his connection.

“What the hell is going on with all of you?” said Rausch, addressing the girls.

Evans tearfully begged Rausch to stay and not leave the villa.

“Why did you go after Andrea?” Evans asked the girls. “(Rausch) has the strongest connection here. Why did you knock Andrea out?”

Liv Walker said: “It wasn’t easy for us. We didn’t want to send any of them home.”

The boys argued that the girls’ decision to leave Carmona made no sense because she had a strong bond with Rausch.

After leaving, Carmona said, “I’m sorry I found a connection. This is just not fair. This is just so fucked up for me because I’m actually growing something that I’ve never done in my life and now that I’m finally finding something, you can’t even let me watch it.”

Madix reiterated that Carmona and White were the deported islanders. Vanderpump Rules The star told Rausch she didn’t think he should leave the show, but she couldn’t tell him what to do: “Only you know what’s best for you.”

The next episode of Love Island USA airs Monday, June 24th at 9pm ET (6pm PT) on Peacock. All episodes of Garbage Disposal will be shown.
