Shania Twain announces her successor to Brad Pitt in 2024 in her hit song

Shania Twain has revealed which male heartthrob she would replace Brad Pitt as if she were writing “That Don’t Impress Me Much” in 2024.

Speak with The London Times In an interview published on Saturday, June 22, Twain, 58, was asked by the outlet who would be featured on today’s version of her 1998 hit.

The Queen of Country Pop said there was a “new Elvis” and his name was Harry Styles.

Twain first expressed her admiration for Styles, 30, in 2022 when she surprised the audience at the Coachella music festival on April 15 by standing onstage next to the former One Direction star during his main set.

The pair performed Twain’s classics “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “You’re Still the One,” and Twain raved about Styles to his captivated audience.

“I’m so honored and so thrilled to be here,” Twain said during the show. “I’m a little starstruck, what can I say? No, really, I’m a fan of yours, of course. I realize you were just a little kid when I wrote this song. It’s like a dream and very surreal to be sitting here now singing this song with you. I think I’m just in love and this song is all about love. So let’s just sing about love.”

Twain’s new admission is not the first time she has spoken about replacing the 60-year-old Pitt in her famous song lyrics, which read: “Oh, oh, so you think you’re something special. Oh, oh, you think you’re something else. OK, so you’re Brad Pitt, I’m not that impressed.”

In an interview with the British Radio times Last year, Twain named another genetically blessed star she would mention by name if she were to re-write the song.

“It is Channing Tatum,” she revealed on the radio show in March 2023, before singing “That Don’t Impress Me Much” with 44-year-old Tatum, replacing mentions of Pitt. “Yeah, that works,” she concluded.

Twain added that she chose Tatum, 44, after seeing him in a trailer for Magic Mike’s Last Dance.

Twain changed the lyrics of the song for the first time during a performance at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. Ryan Reynoldswho was in the audience at the awards ceremony, accepted the honor.

Pitt spoke about Twain’s decision to replace him with the 47-year-old Reynolds in an interview with The film nerd in January 2023.

“I think we can share the wealth,” Pitt said when asked if he agreed that Reynolds “stole the show.”
