Bangkok Post – Experience Canadian indie band Peach Pit at Voice Space

Canadian indie pop band Peach Pit returns to Bangkok for “#HYHBKK Live! With Peach Pit” at Voice Space on July 24.

The quintet has enchanted its fans since the release of its debut EP Sweet FAnearly a decade ago. The album garnered critical acclaim and was compared to contemporaries such as Tom Misch, Homeshake and Mac DeMarco.

Peach Pit has promised to bring his extensive music catalog with the biggest hits and tracks from the new album. From 2 to 3 for this highly anticipated show.

The band consists of high school friends Neil Smith (vocals, guitar), Chris Vanderkooy (guitar), Peter Wilton (bass) and Mikey Pascuzzi (drums). They are known for their laid-back energy and their music is characterized by groovy rhythms, playful guitar riffs and captivating melodies that evoke feelings of joy and contentment. The group combines teenage angst with summer vibes, telling stories of backstabbing best friends and love affairs that die at the end of summer. The band first rose to prominence in 2016 with their self-titled debut EP To be so normal.

Peach Pit visited Thailand for the first time in 2018 and won over their fans with their lush bubblegum pop. Tracks like Tommy’s Party And All right, Aphrodite have exceeded 160 million streams.

In 2020 they released their second album You and your friends at Columbia Records, with DIY called it “12 outstanding indie pop songs that everyone loves.” Their latest album, From 2 to 3contains catchy hits like Give up, baby, go And Danger!.
