Seal Beach City Council Meeting – Voice of OC

The Seal Beach City Council typically meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

This meeting schedule is subject to change, particularly during months with holidays, so be sure to check the status of a meeting using the agenda link below. Also, check the agency website for the latest protocols on in-person and/or virtual participation.

The agendas for city council meetings are published online and in the city administration office no later than the Friday before the respective meeting. They are also posted at the kiosk next to the doors to the council chamber.

APPOINTMENT TIME: The regular session of the Council normally begins at 7:00 p.m. If there are closed business items, that part of the session normally begins around 5:30 p.m.

CONFERENCE VENUE: City Council Chamber at 211 Eighth Street.

The meeting can be viewed on local cable television on Channel 3 or on the city’s website.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Citizens can send comments on any topic by email to the City Clerk at Subscribe to@sealbeachca.gov or using the comment icon in the online portal. All email comments received by the City Clerk prior to the meeting will be posted on the City website and forwarded to the Council. Email comments received after the meeting begins will be posted on the City website and forwarded to the City Council after the meeting.

The portion of the meeting during which the public may comment in person will take place at the beginning of the public meeting. Comments will be limited to five minutes. All documents to be examined must be submitted to the City Clerk for distribution.
