Jordan Love takes an important step off the field before training camp

As the Green Bay Packers prepare for training camp, most eyes are on quarterback Jordan Love. The rising star is expected to receive a significant raise after his incredible 2023 season, but the team has so far been unable to agree on terms while other playmakers around the league are benefiting.

Love, however, has shown no interest in making a deal happen. And while he is working on a contract with the Pack, the quarterback has apparently been taking care of some other important off-field matters ahead of training camp.

As Love announced on his Instagram account on Sunday, he is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend Ronika Stone. The Packers quarterback wrote about his revelation: “First step into eternity.”

Stone is the daughter of former NFL player Ron Stone, who was named to the Pro Bowl three times and won a Super Bowl ring in 12 years in the league. She played college volleyball at the University of Oregon and now plays professionally for the San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation.

Love and Stone first made their relationship public in 2020. Since then, the two have flaunted their connection on social media several times. Stone is also probably Love’s most vocal supporter, standing by him and praising him on multiple occasions throughout his career.

Stone showed her devotion to cheering on Green Bay and Love in 2021 when she was photographed (along with Love’s mother, Anna) sitting in the back row of Arrowhead Stadium during a Packers game against the Chiefs.

Love has already made one long-term commitment this offseason and hopefully the next one is just around the corner.
