Kaden Strayhorn, three-star OL, transfers to Michigan in 2025

Sherrone Moore and Grant Newsome continue to search for players for the Michigan Wolverines after just securing the commitment of three-star offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn for 2025.

The 6’3″, 295-pound player is originally from Michigan but now plays for IMG Academy in Florida. The Wolverines have been recruiting him for over two years and have scheduled him for several unofficial visits since 2022. He made his official visit the weekend of June 21 for Victors Weekend in Ann Arbor.

Strayhorn, who is essentially a Michigan State legacy—you just don’t like to see that, Sparty—is being recruited by Michigan as a center. He joins four-star guard Avery Gach as an offensive lineman in the Wolverines’ class of 2025.

Other players Grant Newsome and Sherrone Moore continue to recruit for the offensive line include five-star Andrew Babalola (tackle), four-star Seuseu Alofaituli (guard), four-star Douglas Utu (flex) and four-star Hardy Watts (flex).

In addition to Michigan and MSU, Strayhorn received offers from Georgia, Miami, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Penn State, Florida State, Florida, Auburn, Texas, Wisconsin, USC, Tennessee and others.

Strayhorn is the 28th-ranked offensive lineman infield, the 58th-ranked player from Florida and the 435th-ranked player in his class, according to 247Sports’ Composite. Check out some of his best junior season highlights on his Hudl page.
