Tears at Love Island as Tiffany and Omar are kicked out in brutal eviction

Tiffany Leighton and Omar Nyame are the last Love Islanders to leave the villa after receiving the fewest votes.

The couples in the final four were Omar, Jess White, Joey Essex and Grace Jackson, Ronnie Vint, Tiffany Leighton, Uma Jammeh and Wi Anderson. Maya Jama then announced a twist – that the rescued islanders had to decide who went home. Tiff and Omar were the ones who were evicted.

Islanders were left completely stunned during the Sunday, June 23, episode when host Maya Jama unexpectedly strutted into the villa. She said: “Hello my lovelies. Have you missed me? Can you meet me by the fire pit please?”

Maya then told the islanders, “Well, I didn’t just come to get all the tea. I have some very important news. The public has voted for their favorite couple. The couple with the fewest votes is in danger of being evicted from the island.”

As the newest members of the villa, Matilda Draper and Konnor Ewudzi were exempt from the vote.

The islanders rescued by the public tried to argue with each other why one of them should go and not the other. Harriet had to explain her decision: “This was not an easy decision and there were a lot of things to consider. We love each and every one of you. Of course, everyone has their own opinions, so it’s hard – we all wanted to keep different people for different reasons.”

“But the girl and boy we dumped are Tiffany and Omar.”

There was plenty more drama during the show when Joey Essex confronted Omar for trying to chat with Grace Jackson.

Since Grace came to the villa, she and Joey have rekindled their romance. But Joey is becoming increasingly uneasy because Omar is still trying to move on with Grace. Before they went to bed, Joey confronted Omar about the situation.

The next day, Joey was talking to Omar. Joey said, “Of course, buddy, you have to understand that I listen to things… Grace told me you said some things. She told you to behave… apparently you were flirting with her.”

Omar replied: “But at the same time, I go about my business… then I ask what was said and I am not told what was said. This annoys me even more now…”

Joey said, “I don’t want to embarrass you.”

Omar replied: “But in the same breath you say it’s not a competition, it’s not a contest and I think I’m not even trying to compete with you. Then why did you say it?”

The conversation ended with Omar telling Joey that he had no interest in Grace.

Viewers also saw Tiffany express her doubts about their potential as a couple to Ronnie Vint. Tiffany asked Ronnie what he thought of them as a couple, which came as a shock to him.

Speaking to the boys, Ronnie said he thought the conversation had taken place so “early” that it had surprised him. Later, Sean Stone told Harriet Blackmore that he expected Ronnie to get back to her – even though he had called it off during the week.

Ronnie later confessed to Ayo Odukoya: “She dumped me, I went all-in and I’m glad I did. Last night I was devastated but today is a new day and Turbo is back.”
