Blake Shelton (47) has convincing arguments that he is the biggest fan of Gwen Stefani (53).

The Oklahoma native shared a post on his social media last weekend, where he promoted his wife’s new song titled “True Babe.”

In his caption, Shelton wrote, “My wife dropped a new song today…you know…THE GWEN STEFANI!!!!!!! Check it out guys!!!! It’s a hit!!!!! I’m so proud of you @gwenstefani!!!”

“True Babe” is Stefani’s first solo single in over two years. The singer last released “Slow Clap” in 2021 (with a remix featuring Saweetie just a month later). In the meantime, her last solo album You make me feel like Christmas (2017) – their first full Christmas LP.

Stefani certainly noticed Shelton’s gushing post and revealed that her husband was the inspiration for her latest song. The former No Doubt member shared Shelton’s tweet on her own account. Write“I love you @blakeshelton thank you for promoting me!! And giving me something to write about (heart emoji) gx #truebabe #prettygirl.”

Shelton and Stefani have been together since 2015 and the couple married on July 3, 2021, at Shelton’s Oklahoma estate.

During their relationship, the two have collaborated on a number of different tracks, including the country-pop single “Nobody but You” (which reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100) and the song “Happy Anywhere.” Both songs also reached No. 1 on the Billboard US Country Airplay chart.

Although Stefani hasn’t revealed whether “True Babe” is part of a new album, we have a feeling if so, Blake will be first in line to purchase it.
